기초설계에서 익힌 시각적 의사전달기술을 사용하여 사용자와 공간의 요구에 대한이해, 재료의 물성에 대한 이해, 구조시스템에 대한 개론적 이해를 바탕으로 한 단순한 기능을 갖는 건물을 설계한다.

The course assists students in exploring the relation between architectural spaces and human behaviors, and in nurturing their ability to understand basic tectonics of building. Two key issues are handled through the design projects in this course: (1) how to organize architectural programs derived from users’ needs, (2) how to enclose the programmed space in materials related with basic structure.
