Sanki Choe teaches architecture at University of Seoul and is a design principal at SCA Design Lab. He holds a Master's degree in Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Yonsei University. Prior to holding the academic position as Professor and Department Head at University of Seoul, he has been a practicing architect registered in the State of New York. His professional works involved several international firms large and small, including Irojae, iArc, SOM, Tsao & McKown Architects, Kyu Sung Woo Architects, and finally SCA Design. Sanki Choe also has been teaching at Northeastern University and Boston Architecture College as adjunct faculty, and has conducted academic research at University of California, Berkeley. He has been awarded with the prestigious Seoul Architecture Prize in 2012, and appointed as 'Public Architect" by the Metropolitan Government of Seoul. His recent contribution to the architectural field was through the curatorial position and as a committee member for the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism(SBAU) hosted by the Metropolitan Government of Seoul.
