건축분야의 다양한 진로 개척을 위해 이론과 디자인, 기술과 디자인을 접목하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 건축설계에서 습득한 전반적인 지식과 경험을 토대로 주제를 선정하고 건축물로 통합하는 것이 건축설계Ⅶ의 목적이라면, 캡스톤건축설계는 학생들의 관심주제를 다양한 진로를 고려하여 발전시키면서 팀작업의 과정을 포함시켜 다양한 관심사를 포괄하는 협업을 추구한다.

The final design studio of the five-year program in architecture focuses on the research-based design. Whereas the purpose of Thesis Studio (Architectural Design Ⅶ) is to help students to integrate the knowledge and skills acquired from the previous design studio courses, Capstone Architectural Design allows students to identify own topics from expanded career courses. Students will practice teamwork a way to incoporate topics from different fields.
